For the Vanilla Cake (Bride’s Side):

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

2 ½ teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cups granulated sugar

4 large eggs

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup whole milk

For the Chocolate Cake (Groom’s Side):

2 cups all-purpose flour

¾ cup cocoa powder

2 teaspoons baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cups granulated sugar

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup buttermilk

For the Frosting:

2 cups unsalted butter, softened

5 cups powdered sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 tablespoons heavy cream

½ cup cocoa powder (for chocolate frosting)

For Decoration:

White fondant (for the bride’s dress design)

Black fondant (for the groom’s tuxedo design)

Edible pearls and decorative accents

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Vanilla Cake:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour one 9-inch cake pan.

In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.

Gradually add flour mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until smooth.

Pour into the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool completely.

2. Prepare the Chocolate Cake:

Grease and flour another 9-inch cake pan.

In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.

Alternate adding the flour mixture and buttermilk until smooth.

Pour into the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool completely.

3. Make the Frosting:

Beat butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, then vanilla and heavy cream.

Divide the frosting into two bowls. Add cocoa powder to one for chocolate frosting.

4. Assemble and Decorate:

Place the vanilla cake on one side and the chocolate cake on the other.

Frost each side with its respective frosting.

Use white fondant to design the bride’s dress side, adding pearls for elegance.

Cover the groom’s side with black fondant, shaping it like a tuxedo with a bow tie.

Add finishing decorative touches.
